Do you need it written on a nail and beat into your brain too?
What a lovely Christian sentiment.

You didn't say it in those words, no.

Tell me, have you ever argued there is a dichotomy between believing in science and faith in God?

What the HELL does anything that has been posted have to do with the well to do?
Perhaps you meant "well enough" instead of "well to do"?
How am I supposed to know if you get your idioms mixed up? I'm not a mind reader.

That's right. To a liberal, morals are for other people. Rules are for other people. For liberals, the ends justify ANY means, including those that violate all standards of morality and decency.

Yes, you are correct.

Well enough alone was what I meant.

True enough. You didn't say science exists only to destroy religion, merely that destroying religion is the main purpose of science.

But who cares? As long as it destroys religion...that's the main purpose, right?
(Psst: That qualification doesn't actually make you look any less inane.)

Yes, until I realized the argument is an inanity. Because we legislate and make moral prescriptions based on scientific findings only a handful of people can actually verify and/or test for themselves. Isn't that faith too?

Perhaps an apology in in order, then, what with going on about my "bleeding heart".
I was working with what I was given.
