You would think so except that certain information was withheld by the government. That information is coming out now and all of you deniers are having a tizzy fit about, creating new lies to try to cover it up again.

These things have a way of coming out, especially from those who were actually there and after 2 years these people finally feel free to speak out.

What information was withheld by the government, what prevented these people from speaking out before and why weren't they subpoenaed by Issa to testify.

Yeah, the Government that announced time and again that the Attack on Benghazi was the result of a You Tube video. Susan Rice just went around again and again saying it.
She was either stupid or lying.

1. The order issued to "wait" (stand down). Defended by this administration as never having happened and then we were told that it was for security reasons. Yeah, the security of the state department.

2. As contractors for the government, they signed confidentiality and security agreements. This entailed keeping quite about anything the government told them to keep quite about.

Now they are whistle blowers and we all have seen how this administration deals with those.

BTW, have you even considered in your biased view that the names of these individuals we not supplied to Issa? Not the first time this vile administration has with held information.

There is no order to stand down. The local CIA commander chose not to participate until more was known about what was going on. There has been no evidence that this was other than normal prudence.

And note we have no way to understand whether this was rational or not. These were not US soldiers or other form of police...these were contractors - mercenaries - hired by the CIA to guard a specific facility. And we still have no official version of why they were there.

Considering Susan Rice said this was a Protest that just got out of hand, it's fairly easy to see why they would take that approach. This is a Politically driven 'Defacto stand down' postiion without having to say the words "Stand down".

The local CIA commander was alleged to be on the phone with an unknown entity (State Department perhaps?) when he refused permission to leave for the consulate.

There has been no evidence that this was "normal prudence" until well after the fact and the White House
was able to put its spin on the situation.

You admit that you don't have a rational reason, you just continue (without personal knowledge of the situation) that there was no malfeasance on display. Just like the government told you.

Perhaps it is time to do some actual thinking.
