Clarke is a lifelong resident of the City of Milwaukee and in March 2002 was appointed Sheriff by Governor Scott McCallum, and eight months later was elected to his first four-year term, earning 64%of the vote. Sheriff Clarke was honored in May 2013, with the Sheriff of the Year Award from the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association for, “demonstrating true leadership and courage. . . staying true to his oath, true to his badge, and true to the people he has promised to serve and protect.”
Sources inside CPD tell Got News that Bosman (photo above) demanded a level of protection afforded A-List celebs and dignitaries. But an investigation revealed that she was not in any danger, and deserved no more than extra attention paid to her address by patrol.
Bosman “wasn’t under any real threat” says a Chicago police officer. “She came in thinking she was Steven Spielberg or something shooting a movie” demanding all kinds of protections says a law enforcement source with knowledge of the Chicago police.
Someone should publish her home address. Just to keep it fair.
micla0, you wouldn't have done anything. You would have just sat around and waited for the police to clear the protesters.
From what I could see of the protesters, there wasn't much chance of getting shot or hammered to death for being somewhat aggressive in getting by them.
Hearts and minds about what, that Brown was a criminal thug?
Just giving general advice about what a protest is actually for and how to conduct one effectively.....or not as in the case of the people blocking the roads. The actual topic of the protest is entirely moot to my comments...it could be a protest about bringing out the McRib sandwich year round.
They sell bear grade pepper spray at Cabela's and most sporting goods stores. I've seen videos of store owners using it on would be robbers and it shoots a big stream of pepper spray. Using it on those knuckle draggers blocking traffic would certainly be justifiable. I know I'd never convict anybody who did that if I was on a jury.
Running them down might seem tempting but you'd risk damaging your car.

One of these days, somebody is going to do that and wind up charged as an accessory to murder as well as the complete and total loss of every dime they have to civil suit.
Looks like Browns step-dad might be heading to jail for inciting the riots after the verdict. Has him on full video urging protesters to burn the **** up....and then they did. The Brown family lawyer is in full damage control noting the mothers calls for peace and admitting those things shouldn't have been said....I'm guessing the step dad is quietly pooping his pants now that he's calmed down and facing possible jail time....they might be conciliatory and not charge him if he publically apologizes etc.
They didn't just stand on the road. They drove there together and used their vehicles to block the highway. The police should have arrested all of them and impounded their vehicles.
There's a country between Cina and South Korea that would most likely mow down protesters.
Shooting/ maiming protesters because they made the lives of some commuters temporarily miserable seems a tad extreme.
Remember that when you're dying in the back of an ambulance, and a bunch of Lo-Fo's have brought traffic to a halt. Every second counts, but hey, the Lo-Fo's have a right to protest, right?
Maybe these protestors need to heed Obama's brilliant foreign policy: "Don't do stupid s**t".
