So long as the Media films, protesters will come.

Why would there not be professional signage?

You don't need a permit unless you intend to amplify sound.

School is out. If the weather holds, lots of students will be drawn to the cause and likely engage.

My agreement with the message is not necessary.

The More, the Merrier ...... for those who are too young to remember - this is exactly how Nixon became President. He ran on a Law and Order campaign to stop the lawless Riots that people were sick and tired of. I can't say that worked out so well as he was a paranoid freak, but it is what got him elected. The people of New York won't want to go back to the Crime infested street of New York of the 1970's ...... way too many remember those dark days.
I'm just speculating here, but I betting you don't see nearly the outrage about these disgusting thugs that you would see if, say, a group of protesters showed up at Mike Brown's funeral singing "Ding Dong the Thug is Dead".

As they say...follow the money and what an interesting trail.
And i'd wager that few of those protesters actually understand the deeper reason for the call to protest.

If you take the side of the protesters, at least be informed as to the reasons behind the calls for protest.

These are organized protests by a far left wing political group.
With no more wars they have jumped on the "End Black Oppression" bandwagon and are funding and organizing protests all over the US.

I sided with the police protest also.....need I be informed or is it irrelevant? Even those I do not support have a right to protest.

It's easier to copy than create. Same deal with signage.

True, but I think they are pawns for a bigger agenda when you follow the money to see who is organizing this.

Actually the groups are all connected when I did a bit of googling.
They use the same people hence the same web format.

Absolutely incorrect, they are every bit ant-cop, anti-american, anti-sanity.

Just take a look at the OWS facebook page. These people are absolute lunatics.

The protestors are a cross section of people, not one single minded force. You have bleeding heart liberal transplants suburbanites, alongside criminal thugs from the projects, and everyone in between.

For the protestors to be equating the NYPD to the KKK is ridiculous. Just look at the 2 cops who were shot. Would they have been given KKK memberships? The NYPD has numerous African-American females on the force in addition to every other ethnic group. This is not Alabama in 1964.

Personally, I think that police work attracts bullies and people with chips on their shoulders, from all races, which is why I think police need to be watched..body cameras, everything recorded, etc.

But you also have a group of people out there, that is largely young and African American, who basically seem to think that all rules are optional for them because their ancestors were brought here on slave ships, and fighting the police is their right or mission.
