since when all incomes have to be equal?..........but the democrats want to take care of all that with big government.
I am right there with you. I had to earn my way up thru the school of hard knocks. Its a co-depend welfare system that many poor think is the only answer.

The only solution is to be creative in your self and do not be a follower.

I went from Warehouse Man to Truck Driver to Salesman to Branch Manager to Operations. I had only God's Help and my mentors over the years.

No.

IE is a dash gauge to be used to diagnose the larger issue of our economy as oposed to making it part of the Dem war to divide and conquer to further their political agenda.

A stong economy, obama has done his best to suffocate, solves the exaggerated problems intentionally made worse and highlighted by dem strategists.

Nj elected Jon corzine governor. JC was the go to guy Biden, obama and HRC thoguht of a the msater financial guru. See what JC did for NJ? So if JC, the darling of the dem libs was ineffective and actually made matters worse in the small state of NJ, imagine what he could do for the entire country and know he was obama's economic architect.

I'd say I'm not concerned in general, for the same reasons others have posted. There isn't a finite amount of wealth to go around, so as long as you can provide value to others you'll be able to trade that for money. It's not like the wealthy are hoarding all the money so nobody else can have any.

The thing I am concerned about is the special privileges given to politicians and the companies working with those politicians. Private sector and public sector making deals is fascism, and it creates unfair advantages that average citizens and companies can't compete with. Get government power out of the market and allow companies to fail if they aren't pleasing their customers. Let good companies thrive if people are happy with their services. (Example: Uber and Lyft provide better taxi services than the "official" taxis but the government is "protecting" the taxis by outlawing the better alternatives.)

Maybe incomes will be equal when outcomes are equal?

Not that I'd call myself a Conservative but I don't vote for Dems or Leftists. The best path to reduce poverty is education, ethics, reduction of drug use, teaching economic responsibility, the value of delayed gratification, teaching positive attitudes and optimism, encourage investment in self and businesses.

A large portion of self-determinism, quite a few gallons of sweat, a heap of willingness, faith in something/one greater than yourself (even if it is not provable), a generous dollop of laughter at life's foilbles. That about does it.

Poof goes the false premise.
