Yeah another slight of hand, is half of births paid for by medicare because parents are lazy and poor? Or is it that medical care today is crazy expensive. I remember one time i was having heart flutter issues and had to take an Ambulance almost eight blocks to the ER. When i got the bill for the ambulance they wantted to charge me and my insurance $1,500 that just outrageous!
The bottom 50% pays little or no taxes. These people need to start carrying their own weight and stop relying on the rest of us to pick up the slack for them. I didn't suffer through all those years of college just so I could hand over more of my money to cover their portion of the tax revenue. I'm sick of dragging all this dead weight around.

One person's luxury is another person's life necessity. So... who makes the value judgment on what type (and cost) of food, clothing, shelter each person should have? I've stated several times that those with very low incomes can pool their resources with roommates or extended family members, etc., under one roof and therefore be able to afford their own food, clothing, and shelter while still paying their share of taxes.
