In a way, they are tied together. No government involvement in market regulation of any kind is as good as anarchy-inspire policy: no regulations, rules and laws to enforce.
But, to answer the original question: America wouldn't exist (chance of existence would be the same of existence of free market).
The corporations have showed us what it would be like in China. A polluted nation of exploited workers.
How could anyone miss that?
If these America companies were so genuine when downplaying fears about exploitation and pollution from deregulation, they would have imposed certain restrictions and requirements on themselves in China.
But no, they didn't do that. Because they really don't care about workers or the environment in China, even when left to police themselves.
So what does that tell you about how they will treat the environment and workers under deregulation in America?
Ahhh the libertarian vision for America, where everyone is definitively for themselves and only themselves.
Poverty and crime would skyrocket, the rich would build walls around their gated communities and cover them with soldiers from their private armies, the poor would survive by digging through their dumpsters, the rich would get the best health care while the poor ended up with witch doctors and faith healers, most education would cease to exist and probably be replaced by a mix of conspiracy theories, youtube and special-effects heavy entertainment and gaming, the environment would be irreversibly mutilated (except in wealthy areas) and the leading cause of death would be diseases that should have been wiped out decades ago.
Also, drugs would be legalized and aggressively marketed to children.
This is a very juvenile post. Free markets and lawlessness are totally unrelated. YOu should learn a little about the topic before posting.
If there was no welfare of any kind, no regulations, unlimited lobbying - a complete, corporate free for all, what would America be like? Do you think the benefits would trickle down to the masses due to limits being lifted on the innovation and entrepreneurship from great minds like Steve Wozniak, Miley Cyrus, and the Waltons, or would America turn into a plutocratic third world hell hole?
Lobbying wouldn't exist if it were a free market because there would be no government intervention to assist these "too big to fail" corporations. In 2008 you would have seen Ford go out, or nearly go out, of business, instead of being given billions of dollars so that they could continue to produce their same old ****ty product.

Actually, Ford was the only one that DIDN'T get a bail out.

It was just a spur of the moment example, let's switch it to GM then. The point was that in a free market, corporations would have to produce a decent product or whither away just like every other business in America.
Exactly. But corporations have a lot more leverage than they do over here and look at the exploitation of workers and the condition of China's environment. China is not stopping companies from implementing their own environmental standards. China is not stopping companies from offering their workers better conditions and pay. Companies are just resistant to doing it.
Imagine if they any did have a free market.
So my point stands.
