Same here, if this field of candidates is the best they can do then there is no hope for the future.

Now, in response to your laughably pathetic claim that President Obama has spoiled relations with Venezuela - in 2008 (Who was the U.S. President then? Hint - it wasn't Obama.) Venezuela broke off diplomatic relations with the United States.

This is a story about domestic Venezuelan politics (yes, it is - pay attention), not about your petty partisan insistence on making everything about politicians you don't like.

This is precisely the sort of logic that makes things worse, of course. Pick your poison in favor of flavor du jour.

Another Obama Success story! No matter what Kerry say's. Obama has made the whole world not very friendly place for a once great nation! How did we miss that? What do you think, will Venezuela turn into anti-american country?

So now Obama is responsible for the fact that Venezuela is an anti-American country? Obama has been a less than perfect President, but I am tired of the way that some people blame him for everything they don't like. I guess he is responsible for bad weather too.

because they are typically morons and care more about their agenda then actually having a chance no matter how slight of things improving.

Apparently Maduro blames the United States of being behind an alleged coup plot. Who knows. It's not like I'm going to visit a place where I might be detained anyway. As far as the blame game goes, we pretty much lost Venezuela in 1999 when Clinton was president. I don't know that anybody could have prevented it though. It seems like they were heck bent on becoming a banana republic.

Nader cost Al Gore that election. Those kinds of losses force the losing party to address why they lost those voters. And within the memory of many, in 1968 George Wallace almost won enough states to prevent Nixon or Humphrey from getting enough electoral votes to win the presidency. If that had happened it would have forced Nixon to the negotiating table with Wallace. It may very well had happened in 1972 except that an assassination attempt was made on George Wallace, critically wounding him and ending that campaign earlier.

IMO, before you throw away your vote on another status quo politician, study up on a little history. Democrats & Republicans love it when Americans are foolish enough to ignore their constitutional options by limiting themselves to a simpe binary choice.

Default Is America’s Next Presidential Election About To Look Like An Episode of “Dynasty”?

My predictions:

1. Hillary gets the Dem nomination, but won't be unopposed. She may even lose a few primaries/caucuses.

2. Jeb Bush will not be the GOP nominee.

Hillary Clinton..................no................I used to really like and respect her. Her reign as Secretary of State, showed me that she is more for Hillary than her country. I so agree, no Bush, no Clinton. But who?

Wish the electoral system would go away. Why can't we just vote for President, like we do everything else. I think there is too much danger of fraud. Seems like a computer game every Presidential election.
