The ability to regulate and deny weapons to the people is clearly outlined in the US Constitution... yet look at the 1000's of gun laws on record. If you read the US Constitution, they are clearly unconstitutional. Every damn one of them.
Now, in the US Constitution it defines who gets to vote in the USA. Yet, no laws or regulations are to be put in place to make sure who is voting, is legally voting according to the US Constitution, allowed to vote.
A vote is more dangerous than any gun.
How is it that the clearest amendment in the bill of rights is broken the most by our government, in an all out effort to keep power.
While the vaguest clauses and amendments on voting rights, are to be non-regulate in an all out effort to fraud the people to stay in power.
Then we should apply the EXACT conditions on the 2nd amendment.
Why do we have to get a permit for concealed carry? "'To keep and bear arms shall NOT be infringed.
A background check to even buy a hand gun is REQUIRED and COSTS.
"What is good for the goose, is good for the gander"
The problem with this statement is there seems to be a misunderstanding on how our government works. "We as citizens" can't apply constitutional conditions or interpretations on the laws. We operate as a Republic, therefore "we as citizens" elect representatives to make decisions on our behalf.
If the constitution isn't being interpreted to your liking, thank your elected representative, your president, and the federal judges your president nominates and congress approves.

When did you consent to be governed and oppressed by another man? I know I never have.
There is only one day that we(you & I) will all be judged and it will never be by another man.
Another man can only oppress another man, for power over that man, to use other peoples money to police the freedom the other man has, when he did not consent to be governed.
Friends are made and Allies bought and paid for, Tyrants tax.
How many black people do you know? You need to go back and read the OP's link and the various threads from places like the Brennan Center.
But since we are sharing anecdotes here are just a few.
"A disabled woman in Travis County was turned away from voting because she couldn’t afford to pay her parking tickets. An IHOP dishwasher from Mercedes can’t afford the cost of getting a new birth certificate, which he would need to obtain the special photo ID card required for voting. A student at a historically black college in Marshall, who registered some of her fellow students to vote, won't be able to cast a ballot herself because her driver's license isn't from Texas and the state wouldn't accept her student identification card"
It's pretty clear from reading through a lot of these responses that many have not bothered to find out exactly what this case was about.
LOL, no, I'm a capable person not a helpless invalid dependent and incapable of completing a one page form. I have to sympathize with people like that. Life must be so pathetic, and not worth living if you can't do for yourself.
