Yep, they can defend their state just the same as the Muslims who conquered the countries around them

My title.

My point is that just about every ethnic group in the world has its own state. Why not the Jews? And why not the Jews over a recently created group, the "Palestinians"? About migration, my point is that that the Jews migrated/returned to their homeland. There have been many other migrations, forced or otherwise in the past. Those often displace people who were "there before." Only the Jews get daily condemnation for seeking and getting a homeland.

A lot of people feel under political attack by Jewish political power. To include the Palestinians at the least, but also many others. A lot of that feeling is aggravated by the existence of Israel, which was gained through the displacement of millions of Arabs. A lot of Jewish agitation against other groups is grounded in human rights claims. Other groups see Jewish political and social behavior in Israel and call foul, because they see a double standard and thus feel that Jewish groups are disingenuous In their international human rights and victim politics. Also, it's an anathema to keep four million people in what amounts to an open air prison city. People are outraged by that, and generally don't buy the Israeli victim spiel given the death numbers on either side, the vastly uneven military power, and the restrictions and danger of living in Palestine. That's why people complain.

I don't mind Israel, but the international politics must even out to where people perceive parity and good faith, and there must be a solution for the Palestinians. I don't personally get emotionally invested in the Israeli-Palestinian situation, but I know that a lot of the world is.
There are lots of elephants in the corners;

  1. The huge amount of unused Arab lands;
  2. The fact that the Arabs had no particular attachment to modern Israel until the Jews came; and
  3. Most of all the Holocaust.

Why won't the Arabs absorb the migrants? The "open air prison" has another door besides swamping Israel.

We should welcome any Israeli to emigrate here, and then cut all ties with the Middle East IMO.
You fail to understand the ideology of Zionism. The land of Israel has a connection to the Jewish culture spiritually, culturally, religiously, ect. Its a fulfillment of the Old Testament to inhabit Jerusalem, not the U.S.

The U.S wanted no part of Israel until it realized that Israel would be a potential deal breaker during the Cold War.

Please provide sources for the bolded. Note that the article better be either about Hamas or PA leadership.

Anyhow, why did the Palestinians reject multiple statehood offers?

Crickets.

Because what they really want is Israel gone. All other solutions are interim and Israel will correctly insist on demilitarization and defensible borders as part of any deal. Those are deal breakers for the "Palestinians."

Uh no, not only the Jews get daily condemnation for seeking and getting a homeland. The condemnation of white Gentiles that might even have an inkling of such a notion is infinitely more intense. Where is their aipac? Where is their Sheldon adelson? The answer of course is that they have no such things.

I fail to understand why anyone would say in one breath: "The Jews should have their own state", but then say in the next breath that those European countries, that are NOT Muslim, should open their arms to Muslims or they're racist/xenophobes/haters/etc.

Can't have it both ways people. Either you allow each religion to have their own state, or you don't.
