Here's good common sense: It's a waste of breath, time and energy arguing with these liberal fascista gun grabbers.

I'll just keep donating time and money to the RKBA cause nationally and locally.

All the while supporting whatever it takes to legally beat these SOB's back from whence they came.

You drive legally and probably never killed anyone. I own guns legally and never shot anyone.
At least you had to take a test to get a driver's license

I agree with enforcing existing laws. Absolutely. But in addition to that, there is also no reason on earth that a 25 year old mentally deranged kid who was kicked out of the military needed to own 20 firearms. Not one good reason on earth. The 2nd Amendment is not a holy writ above all criticism and reform. It does not mean that people should stockpile weapons just because they can. More has to be done to keep weapons out of the hands of these killers. That is common sense.

How many is too many? You only have two hands.
What difference does it make whether one has 20 or 200 guns?
How many can ya carry?

Again, somebody says "More has to be done,"
without anything specific to offer.

They have no idea what "more" entails.

Just enforce existing laws. That's all the "more" that needs to be done.

Freakin hormonal idiots.

If it were as easy as that, the major cities with the most stringent gun laws would be the least violent places.

Everything is political with Barry....he will NEVER make a statement that could remotely "offend" his base.
For the "rainbow stew" brigade 'common sense' simply refers to anything they want. It's the same thing as 'being on the wrong side of history' if you disagree with them. Because their arguments are complete garbage they have to come up with their own definitions as a means of support.

Exactly. And start with a mandatory mental health assessment for anyone who wants to buy a gun. The gun lovers always fall back on mental illness as the excuse for these mass shootings, but balk at any attempt to keep guns out of the hands of these sick people. Apparently, mentally ill peoples' second amendment rights supersede the rights of the rest of us to remain alive.

I think the real reason they balk at a mental health assessment is that they fear they wouldn't pass it themselves.

That is what we mean by "common sense" in terms of fixing gun laws.
that account of the Columbine incident is patently false - the two guys from Columbine HS did not attend a gun show to obtain their weapons.

Fire a hand gun while committing another crime....20 years minimum, no parole.

Wound or kill someone with a hand gun during a crime....life in prison, no parole.

Every sentence will be served with hard labor.

BTW...people with documented mental illnesses cannot legally own a firearm, neither can convicted felons.

Convicted felons are not supposed to own a handgun. Somehow, felons do not seem to obey laws very well.

How do you tell if someone is mentally ill without violating HIPPA laws? Can the feds then dive into everyone's medical records? What is someone was on an antidepressant ten years ago? What if someone is currently on anti-depressants?

So if you are enforcing all these gun laws with an iron fist, are we going to enforce immigration laws as well? What if an illegal is caught with a gun or commits a crime with a gun?
