Exactly, the bible, Christianity, and for the most part Judaism has 1800 years of wide spread acceptance and history in all of the West, 400 years in America. Islam does not.

Regulating is not restricting, the same way you can't tell fire in a crowded theatre or there is such thing as libel. Restricting freedom of religion would be akin to an outright ban on weapons.
