I am wondering what Trump would do, He is a businessman. I don't agree with him 100%, but I do like him. I seriously am wondering what he would do, I don't think he is willing to risk so many American lives.

Sanders doesn't seem like a Hawk either. I have to wait and see.

Its all about money. I seriously think Trump would leverage foreign policy using trade and business blackmail. Cut foreign aid to certain countries for example.

This is a great idea......."Syria....we are doing $4 billion in trade with you. Your people are content with the new influx of dollars........there is this problem we would like to see addressed so we can continue to be business partners".

Anyone who advocates sending American troops to the Middle East should be first in line to put his/her boots on the ground.

Don't be deluded, Left or Right, they both love war. Clinton created the petri dish for 9/11, and now Obama has created the perfect storm for WWIII. GWB salivated to invade without hesitation.

BOTH SIDES LOVE WAR - "It makes their friends so much damn money" - L.B. Johnson

A number of economic sanctions against the Syrian government are already in place. Have been for years.

LOL...that you think I'm arguing for sanctions.

I wonder who has the most influence with Iran? The U.S. always imposing sanctions or Russia buying up their oil?

Explain your distinction between economic sanctions and 'leveraging foreign policy using trade and business blackmail.'
