Same here. Spending time around smokers for too long causes me horrible ear infections. So that probably is why I'm so viscerally repulsed by smokers in public, especially on sidewalks where it's hard to escape.
Then I'm sure you don't grill. That might push you over the edge.
Why would I want to fool anyone? When my golf buddies light up a cigar I always stand closer to enjoy the aroma of a good cigar.
Do you believe you are fooling anyone? Do you think everyone is like you?
Backing down, eh. See what being called out on BS will do for you. Cigars are only marginal less-offensive, but I do't think anyone was talking about them.
Utter BS. You might as well state that riding with a drunk drivers doesn't tend to adversely impact your health. You would be no more foolish. Tobacco smoke kills and causes all sorts of distress on the human. Respirator, olfactory, and eye distress are but a few. Keep you pollution to yourself. Nobody wants you fouling the breathing air with tobacco effluent any more than you want somebody fouling your drinking water with "beer effluent". Try respecting, instead of attacking, the rights of your fellow citizens.Give "Respect" a chance.
Then I'm sure you don't grill. That might push you over the edge.
The difference, my myopic friend is that we don't go to populated areas where people are breathing and start grilling (such as sidewalks, common areas etc. And I doubt if anyone would equate the stench of burning tobacco with the aroma of food cooking (sociopaths excepted).
Car exhaust doesn't hold a candle in toxicity or stench to burning tobacco. Why don't you come back to reality and stop grasping at the same old worn out non-issues. Car exhaust is mostly C02 and H2O, and have almost no odor whatsoever,
Being both a former smoker and former heavy drinker, (I partied a lot when I was younger)
I've found that it's actually pretty easy to live your life in a manner that will let you avoid contact with both if you really want to.
To me....it's largely a non issue unless they invade my personal space.
Simple question..Do you dislike being around cigarette smokers, or people who drink? Which type is more polite or considerate around people who dont smoke/drink?
Obama is a smoker and I'm really hoping he did not smoke in the WH. I'd hope that stink can be fumigated.
