How is giving the bird to the government going to fix anything?
The teabaggers' empty symbolism is what created Trump in the first place. They have been giving the bird to the government since 2010, and what have they accomplished?
Nothing but continual attempts to hold govt. funding for ransom, over and over and over. They can't ever get what they want because they don't know what they want. All they have done is hollered about what they DON"T want. That does nothing positive whatsoever toward correcting any problem.
So- please state what you WANT the govt. to do for all of us, gays included. After all, they have exactly the same rights as we all have, pay the same taxes, and have the same needs as we all.
Flipping the bird is far too vague to send any kind of message to anyone. It is nothing but visual name calling.
It is beyond time for Americans to start demanding our gov't to do it's job. Our president and congress continue to sell us out and betray us, and we are stupid enough to keep voting for the same thing. We have Stockholm Syndrome. Political correctness has enslaved us to the point that the crooked congressmen, media, police, judges, teachers, and others with any authority have stopped serving is and have actually been screwing us. Bad policies have become the norm. They have prioritized things completely backwards from what most Americans want. We need to stop "tolerating" terrorists. We need to stop tolerating gays. We need to stop tolerating crooked politicians.
It's time that we used our power to take back OUR country!
Dude you lost me right there. Why do we need to "stop tolerating gays"? Homosexuals have the same rights as any other citizen in this country. What do you mean by "tolerate"?
Who's forcing their sexual thoughts and behaviors on you?
Are you being forced to have a same sex relationship? Is someone making you march in a pride parade? Did you wake up one morning and find yourself handcuffed to a chair at a gay wedding, unable to leave?
That would be wrong but I kinda doubt that's happening.

What if we all went around talking and demonstrating about our sexual choices. I just wish if they were going to live that lifestyle they would shut up about it. I would prefer not to know about their sin. Life is more than sex.

And I have a right to feel that I wish those who want to live a fantastical religion would shut up about it. I don't care to know about their fantasies. Life is more than "I go to church on Sunday".
I you want my opinion then you'll get it. I you don't like it, then stop asking! Gays think that they are making "progress" when Obama praises them. And then they get offended when actual (heterosexuals) citizens tell them the truth. You will never get acceptance for your lifestyle.

It reminds me of an incident with my grandmother once.
It was during the height of the "new" AIDs crisis, and she said, "God is killing the gays because of what they do." My 40 year old aunt had just recently died...not very common for a 40 year old to drop dead of a heart attack...and I replied to my grandmother, "And why did God kill Aunt Jean? What terrible thing had she done." And of course, the weak retort was, "Well, that's different."
