I was trying to make a point... And that point is that the gay rights groups (i.e. LBGTQ) have insisted that their clients get full media coverage or anything related to the cause. We just had a terrorist attack, and all we hear about is that it was a gay club. This is a big distraction from the obvious... that terrorists are here and they want to terrorize the USA. But yet the president (and Hillary) don't want to crack down on terrorists?

Why do you think the FBI told the Orlando shooter's wife not to mention that he may have been gay/homophobic?
Why do you think the FBI manufactures terrorist plots and recruits unstable/mentally challenged people to act in them only to stop it and showcase on the media?

The Government WANTS people to believe our country is overrun with terrorists and constantly uses fear to "manufacture consent" for war and whatever the hell they want to do. It's working on you like a charm.

It's unfathomable to think what the CIA is doing (supporting/funding terrorists in the Middle East) considering this is just the FBI.

well I'm not surprised that the FBI likes to toot their own horn. But, in the Orlando case it seems clear that he was a terrorist. And they dropped the ball big-time! I just wish they would turn up the heat on "real" terrorists. thanks for the links.

Well, it's not so much about "tooting their horn" as it is manufacturing consent for the ever-ambiguous, ever-growing War on "Terror"-with no specific enemy, no end-goal where the Government can use it as a guise to invade whatever country they please and eventually silence any dissenter they wish including US citizens. Most of what we are doing in the Middle East is creating "blowback" and new terrorists every single day. Many of the "rebel groups" we arm and fund soon become our major enemies (Al Qaeda/the Taliban). It is a vicious cycle of insanity.

Of course they dropped the ball-The Government always seems to have been forewarned/made aware of most major terrorists yet do nothing (OBL, Boston Bombers, etc.) This Orlando shooter also worked for the largest private security firm in the World that has been under much controversy not properly vetting their employees and for being so incompetent. G4S (the security corporation he worked for) handled the security at all three airports involved on 9/11 and has been the biggest contractor with DHS/US Government post-9/11.

It's time that we used our power to take back OUR country!
America is a nation of immigrants, odd that you would think only your immigrant lineage merits American status..

I agree with the OP, I hate the PC, the leftist nonsense, the immorality and destruction of traditional values. I cant stand how weak we appear to be as a nation. Terrorists attack on our own soil because they know they have nothing to fear from our pacifist leaders. We are a nation and culture in a death spiral. However the OP is wrong to think we can just reverse what has happened, unless we are willing to take some big steps

Secession and rebellion are ideas most conservatives would find unpalatable, however those are really the only two options left to take back this nation (or just the good part of it). The enemy has taken over our government, the media and colleges. New leftists are coming of age every year, and the huge millennial generation is so far to the left that they almost don't seem American. We are losing in the democratic system. Socialism and big government is being voted in year after year. Redistribution of wealth and left wing social experiments are the norm of the day. We have already lost at the ballet box, and at this point nothing can be done to change this fact. The Northern and Left coast states are lost, many of them are so dominated by progressive liberal types that reconciling with them is impossible and not worth the effort. Let them "feel the Bern" on their own, and IMO they can pay for it themselves as well.

The only thing left to do is elect strong states rights leaders in the governors mansions and state houses of the Southern and Western states (red states). Once we get enough of them in place we will have options. We can nullify federal laws, defy them or actually carry out an act of secession in order to preserve our rights. Its time for a new strategy. Its time to start thinking like our founding fathers or the Confederate hero's of 150 years ago. Its time Conservatives learn that rebellion and secession are VERY American things to do. We conservatives must face reality, the system is now fixed against us and the numbers are too. We must start laying the groundwork for what is left of the "real America" to make its stand. Until then we will live under the enemies rule. We will all watch again as the liberal democrat runs away with it in 2016. Four more years of socialism, at some point Red State America will wake up and understand what we need to do.

Dan if thats where you think America is at you may as well stick a fork in it as its definitely over in your mind. And about that American culture being in a death spiral? what is it you actually envision when talking about the American culture?
As for your new strategy? sounds a lot like anarchy.=

noun: anarchy

    • absence of government and absolute freedom of the individual, regarded as a political ideal.
Personally i'd rather be under the governments rule of law than your rule of law.

The US government can no longer be fixed at the ballot box. The rot is too deep.
