Of coarse I have a mark up on my ammunition sales.
Not so sure...

I wanted to buy a Honda generator from Northern Tool and they refused stating the model generator did not meet California emission law...

I know car restorers that go out of State to buy enamel paints because no longer legal in California..

Can't imagine ammo would be less strict... but what do I know?

Actually, this brings up another good point. While it's still legal to have ammunition shipped to NY, after the (un)SAFE act passed, the legislation was so vague that online sources decided rather than hire lawyers to figure out what was going on, it was easier and cheaper to just deny sales to NY residents.

That's a key way the anti-gun folks hit us. The onerous requirements they come up with make it so that for some people it's not worth the aggravation. Unfortunately, this disproportionately affects lower-income people; people who many times live in areas where they're most in need of protecting themselves.

I'm not Northern Tool, nor am I a Sherwin / Williams

Like your car restorers go out of state, Fed Ex comes to you. I don't have to declare what is in it.

To purchase ammo here, I grab a box off the shelf and walk to the cash register, exchange cash, check or credit and out the door I go. Box it up and take it to FedEx for shipping to California.....
I only have a 10% mark up. Sales are brisk.
