Target, the big-box retailer which allows transgender customers and employees to use the bathroom corresponding to their gender identity, is adding another option. The company announced that it will spend $20 million to build more single-stall bathrooms that can be locked for privacy.
I've not been back to Target since they made their policy change. Not because of the transgenders, but because any man can go into the women's bathroom at any time. If women object to the presence of a man who is not a transgender in the bathroom, Target will have a talk with them and apparently have them arrested if they further object, according to one article I read some time ago.
Those whose goal has been to do harm to women and children now have an open door to do so at Target with its change in policy. The CEO could care less. Now they are losing sales and want to recover. Money talks.
I spent quite a bit of money at Target on a monthly basis and at Christmas. I won't go back to a store that puts PC interests ahead of the safety of women and children.
This is a GOOD thing. It's a single bathroom behind a door that locks. Not a bathroom with multiple stalls. The local Walmart here has one, marked "family". It's ideal for a mother with a young son, that she doesn't want to let go into the men's room alone, but is a little too old to be in a woman's restroom, or a dad with a young daughter, that he doesn't want to take into the men's room, yet doesn't want her going to the women's restroom alone. Also good for tg people, or people that are worried about the tg policy, or that have shy bladders.

Haven't you ever gone into the men's bathroom even when they were present. Who cares. You guys are so paranoid about men. Please don't teach your children your paranoia.

What? No. And if the prevailing sentiment among men is that they don't want women in there while they're using the urinals, I would respect their wishes and not force myself upon them or accuse them of hating women.
Why would people be up in arms about this? Plenty of stores and restaurants have single stall bathrooms. I'm female, not transgender, and I prefer them. Love the privacy.

Try not to confuse people who are so ready to have a temper fit that they didn't stop to understand single stall (as in completely private and nobody else in the room no matter their gender)!
