I think I've got it! White supremacists just like being the center of attention in everything. THAT is why they get so angry when blacks ignore them. They can't stand us but when we decide to ignore the hatred and just do us, they feel offended, they feel excluded (hence the self-segregation accusations), they feel like "how dare you not bow down to me!". I see it most frequently with 'atheist' and 'terrorist', but you just provided another with 'leftist'. I copied your post as an example.
It's not the most important thing in the world, but it's just really weird that it happens so frequently with 'ist' words.

I know one person has gotten their wake up call. Didn't matter. In some cases, it's a matter of ethnocentrism. Some individuals know might get looked down on, and still look down on other groups.

I'm responding to my own quote. Many Latino of African descent will look down on black Americans, and it's like ummm dude, they don't like your ass either!

We're citizens of this country. No one has a right to throw people like you and me out. I am not going anywhere unless I choose to do so. That will be a decision I make. There are some Whites who wish the 1940s America would return. Some. Thankfully, it isn't the majority. But it isn't only Whites that are looking down on Black Americans. I've met Hispanic persons and African immigrants who have expressed a disdain for American Blacks. I met a woman from the West Indies, Afro-Caribbean. Her parents told her not to date Black American men. This obsession/looking down on Black Americans isn't limited to Whites.
No, it's not. My dd taught English in China. They want young American adults to come to China and teach kids English. The money is good and they get a housing allowance. But they prefer males over females, and they rarely hire black people to teach their kids. One of her friends was a dark-skinned Puerto Rican, and he couldn't find a teaching job with the group of schools she worked for even though there were openings.
