I think it will be possible. In about 25 years, after we Boomers are dead. I'm convinced at this point that Boomers cannot let go of our Jim Crow childhood upbringing. Boomer blacks and Boomer whites are going to be locked until we die in the struggle we were given as children.
I do see a difference in the Millennial generation as a whole. I don't think they own those stereotypes as racial stereotypes the way we Boomers do. They just need to realize that we Boomers apparently intend to go out with a bang.

That is what we assented to 50 years ago. We have to be open-eyed about what that result will actually look like. I don't think "African-American" as we have known it until now can survive in that environment.
I honestly don't think it will in regards to the bold.
The struggle started before the Boomers and will continue IMO for another 100 plus years.
Being black is not just a social stereotype in this country, but also around the world in places that did not have the race "movements" like we have had here in America.
Black is globally viewed as something that is "worse than" other demographics or nationalities (depending on the country).
Because of the above, even though these ideas, in theory, are decreasing in America, in reality, I honestly don't see them decreasing.
I am a "young" Gen X and many consider me a Millenial. Though they are not as blatantly racist today, Gen X and Millenials (the oldest are in their 30s BTW) commonly buy into racial biases and many follow racist ideologies. The growth of white supremacist/nationalist groups in particular was occurring even before the election of Obama and Trump due to the internet and those groups being able to evolve and re-brand themselves in the digital age.
So I don't see it dying off. I see it changing and I just feel black youth need to be culturally educated early in their lives to know that they will be seen as "different" by some people due to being black, but that being black also involves a great culture of "XYZ123" and not to let the ignorance of others impact their lives too greatly.

Unfortunately, I tend to agree with this.....if current trends continue. I think things get a lot more iffy if economic survival becomes more iffy. Racism has pretty much always been inspired by economics. When opportunity becomes more scarce, those who think they are the "superior" race are going to rationalize that THEY deserve to have the existing opportunities while those who are seen as the inferior race should have the least. I am not sure that young white millennial are immune from being pulled into such beliefs when things are not abundant and about "fun" any longer. In order to keep the focus off the elites, you need to inflame divisions among the non-elites and keep them divided instead of uniting against the elites......either that and or a major war will be used to distract people and turns males into soldiers rather than revolutionaries.

I see a lot more "think like me" attitudes among Millennials and especially post-Millennials (recognizing that the kids I work with are actually post-Millennials).
When Millennials actually gain control of society--which won't be for another 20 years--I just don't see them hanging on to racial stereotypes the way we Boomers do.

According to said youtuber, most non-Blacks want nothing to do with Blacks and would prefer that Blacks stay at a distance. According to him, just the presence of some Blacks is enough to bring housing values down. And towards the end he said that Blacks should be more concerned about building their own neighborhoods and institutions. He would also mention that it didn't bother him if Whites and non-Blacks didn't like him.

I hope you are right, but I would hold my final judgment until I could see them at age 40. Keep in mind also that it is anecdotal to judge the totality of white millennials from personal experience with them. What is true of some parts might not necessarily be true for the whole. Anecdotally, I was traveling through Iowa and stopped at a restaurant to eat. My family were the only black people in the place. I went to use the bathroom and there were two urinals. I was in one urinal and an older white guy was using the other urinal. Then a youth of maybe 12 came in to I guess pee. I am always watching my back so when I kind of looked behind me and this youth was trying to stare at my pick. It was like he was trying to see if the stereotype was true. He even seen me look back....but he stayed there positioned where he should have never been standing to just wait to use the urinal. If he was not a youth I would have turned around a wizzed on his azz....then kicked his azz.
Not all.....or even the majority of young whites in this country interact daily with blacks.

I would suggest that the 12-year-old white kid is going more on what he's seen in porno videos than what he's been told by racist whites.
