What "liberal threats" are those?

I thought it was an article of hoplosexual faith that liberals are all scared of guns, or something.

This I can understand-especially now in Trump's 'Murica where the rich will be truly catered to at the expense of all the middle class workers who fell for his BS.

I've walked away or backed down, seemingly with my tail twixt my legs, from things that had me boiling inside.

Some punks accosted my lady and I outside a restaurant once. Lewd comments, downright nasty stuff was made toward her as we walked by. I gritted my teeth and kept her close and walked on to their jeers about my manhood. My lady was rather surprised I didn't react, in any way and asked me why. When I explained that such drivel was quite beneath me as I was armed and this was hardly a situation needing lethal force she understood completely. Now, had they tried getting handsy, that would have triggered a response. One they would not have either expected nor liked.

That's what being armed is like. You're the Coward of the County. If you choose to see it thus. Me, I just see nonsense like those punks with their stupid comments as being far beneath my time to deal with. However, I'm as prepared as I can be for when it gets real. I flat guarantee that NOBODY is going to put their hands on my lady or me without getting a nasty surprise of some kind or another. I have non lethal means at my disposal as well. But when you're armed in that manner, it takes WAY more than just a big mouth to provoke a reaction. Trust me when I say there's no feeling of omnipotent power that goes with being armed. Far from it.

Well NV- YOU feel that way, and I respect you for it. I'm sorry you have to deal with that. Maybe a bit of non lethal whoopass on the punks might be in order

But I admit I've seen here, in real life, and other forums/social media, where MANY gun owners DO act all badazz and omnipotent, talking all sorts of tough, only because they have their gun. I see it here plenty, but worse, I've seen/heard more in real life. More folks need to adopt your outlook on the issue, as that would cut down on the needless violence.

Shoot someone before they do anything? Kill em because he got within 6 feet of her? Why did you shoot him m'am? He was 6 feet away and walking toward me asking for a light.

Great idea!! Good luck and don;t forget to duck when some hormone-driven angst filled teen forgets her goes on a rampage because Amber and Stephanie were seeing talking to her bf

Of course, it WOULD reduce over-population some in 'Murica, less Americans is always a good thing, right?

In this videos below, it has all the elements of gun rights, race related violence, personal freedom ... I found women can pull the trigger and shoot a lot easier than many men do. Many times, getting a cop on the phone does not do much good compared to having a gun in hand.

The woman in the video is a restaurant whole sale entrepreneur living in a unsafe area of Atlanta GA that experienced many armed robberies in the past. Thugs pick on Asian population more frequently because they are easy targets. Language barrier further complicates similar types of situations.
