Fewer voted for him than for her. We have an idea about what the rest of the country thinks due to opinion polling: Trump is polling at unprecedented negative ratings for a President-Elect.
So what is he polling at?

Just stop. Even with millions of BS votes she couldn't win. Seriously, just stop already.

Trump supporters are rejoicing now but trust me, they will grow tired of how much the president they like is disliked by over half of the country. Over half. They will grow weary of defending him. And if he privatizes Medicare and Social Security, a lot of unpleasantness will likely follow; only time will tell. For those that think they will get rich with Social Security privatization and will then have no problem affording private insurance policies at 70, Enron employees thought they would be rich too.

The electoral college may elect the president, but it doesn't negate that a much larger portion of the country did not want Trump. They are reminded daily that a small number of rural voters had more power than entire metropolitan areas. Both areas may work and pay taxes but saying those large areas have less say is not going to wear well when Trump makes those inevitable mistakes.
This is a worthless thread. It can just as easily said the other way around, when Obama came into office.

Again, we have around half the nation that did not vote. Claiming any majority is spinning propaganda.

As for the polling, sorry... but the polls are often wrong, manipulated (as we saw with the election) and the news agencies are liars and propaganda machines.

Using them as evidence of anything only make you look bad.

The only meaningful number we have is the ones that vote. And over 2.5 million voters voted for Hillary than Trump so far. Including Johnson, Stein and McMillin, Trump only got 46% and that could go down as the rest is counted.

Since Trump has only taken 2 of the daily briefings from the government, and Pence has taken most every day, maybe Trump expects Pence to make the decisions on world affairs. Since we elected Pence as VP, not President, I think this is a bit scary.

Again, this is not what you stated. You are now moving the goal post.

Seriously, you people are as unethical in your comments as the day is long.

actually the difference is only 1.4 million
http://www.nytimes.com/elections/results/president
she got 48%, trump 47%, and 5%to the 'others'

and the FACT is that Hillary only got 48% of the vote...which means 52% voted AGAINST her

the amount of votes doesn't matter

winning the states is what matters

Trump won 30 states....Hillary won 20 states plus DC

let's look at some of those states Hillary won

look at Nevada...Hillary won the state (popular vote) and got the electoral delegates....but...out of 17 counties...Hillary won only 2....trump took 15 counties

look at Colorado ...Hillary won the state (popular vote) and got the electoral delegates....but...out of 64 counties...Hillary won only 23..... trump took 41 counties

look at Oregon ...Hillary won the state (popular vote) and got the electoral delegates....but...out of 36 counties...Hillary won only 8..... trump took 28 counties

look at Washington ...Hillary won the state (popular vote) and got the electoral delegates....but...out of 39 counties...Hillary won only 12..... trump took 27 counties

look at New Mexico...Hillary won the state (popular vote) and got the electoral delegates....but...out of 33 counties...Hillary won only 14..... trump took 19 counties

look at Minnesota ...Hillary won the state (popular vote) and got the electoral delegates....but...out of 87 counties...Hillary won only 9..... trump took 78 counties

look at VERY BLUE New York...Hillary won the state (popular vote) and got the electoral delegates.... but...out of 62 counties... Hillary won only 16..... trump took 46 counties

look at VERY BLUE Maryland...Hillary won the state (popular vote) and got the electoral delegates.... but...out of 24 counties... Hillary won only 7..... trump took 17 counties

look at Virginia...Hillary won the state (popular vote) and got the electoral delegates.... but...out of 133 counties... Hillary won only 40..... trump took 93 counties

Clinton lost because she is a proven liar
Candidate Hillary..."I'm for women".........................the real hillary........." the rapist was lured by the 15 yr old".... "all these tramps seduced my husband"

candidate Hillary..."I'm for minorities and blacks".......the real Hillary......"he's a n-word"

candidate Hillary...."I'm against the TTP"..........the real Hillary " I helped negotiate TTP, and Nafta was/is great"

candidate Hillary "woman should be paid the same".......the real Hillary 'everyone of my female staff is paid far less than my male staff'

Hillary "what difference does it make" . "lets move on from the past"........ I am sure ambassador Stevens and the others appreciate that hillary says what difference does it make

she proved that she is the MOST TWO-FACED POLITICAL CANDIDATE IN THE LAST 50 years

-16.5 in the last month. RealClearPolitics - Election Other - Trump: Favorable/Unfavorable

Post-election (as is typical) is better, but still historically bad between -2 & -10.

Compare Obama post-election 2008: +58 RealClearPolitics - Election Other - 2012 Obama: Favorable/Unfavorable

Obama is more popular than Trump today. Obama after his first election was stratospherically more popular.

Well, he lost the popular vote & polling has him more unfavorable than favorable. One piece of evidence could be an outlier. Two pieces of evidence strengthens the picture. Historically, Presidents-Elect have had considerably positive approval ratings--usually much higher than they end up after governing. Trump needs this not to be his high water mark.
