Aside from having children for various reasons, the primary and instinctual reason is to carry on the genetic line. Thus your children will have grandchildren, and so on. If a parent has a kid who turns out to be homosexual, those things are out the window.
So aside from the sickening feeling a parent might get at the thought of their daughter or son engaged in homo acts, the worst part is no grand kids. That would especially be bad if they only had one kid.
If they are an adult they have a right to their own opinion. They know my opinions on homosexuality. So far I don't see anything to worry about all seems normal.

Yep. We only have (as of now) 1 son. I think he is quite a normal young boy lol....he has a crush on his teacher....literally of my fathers 2 sons my son is the only one to carry on the last name and genetic line.

So if they did come out you would what? Disown them? Me thinks you still have some things to learn about His message. Maybe one day you will have a nice talk (with him) and see He loves us all, and it is His place to judge, not even a father can override that. Every Day, He is Always with us. Peace
A lot (if not most) parents are at least somewhat unsupportive, and while I understand that it takes time to adjust expectations, it's sad when relationships become strained due to a child coming out.
Yes and its because of this that its understandable why many DO NOT come out until they dont live @ home anymore....
Its very sad........ They have no control over how they feel and WHY DOES IT MATTER??
It doesnt really.........
