and the threat is still there.

Now I agree the execution with regards to Visa/Green card was poorly handled.
That said that is the reason it is a suspension not a ban.

People could make the argument for Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to be included but I think it would be a terrible move and glad they were not.

There is always a threat if you wan to use that as an excuse for any action, the question is what changed in the last week. This wasn't an emergency based on any particular facts, it was created purely on Trumps policy. If there was some immediate threat this move could have been defended, but there was nothing.

The US government will be sued fore their actions, he should have waited until he has his own US Attorney.

So Christians from Syria are allowed in but not the Muslims?

Sued on what legal basis?
How much threat we are willing to accept is up to debate. He campainged on the fact the threat we would be taking on from refugees from these countries was too much and he wanted to limit/revamp it.

Ok, but to get back to the bigger picture, how does this 'make America safer'?

Of those who have murdered and terrorized people in this country, most have been from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan or the USA. And if from a different country, they were radicalized in Pakistan, and that includes Americans and Europeans.

So how does this Trump EO make America safer? And due to the unintended consequences of this EO being pushed through rashly, and not vetted by HS or legal experts (in fact not even informing HS), many more people and families were hurt than helped. This was not being done for the greater good. It was purely a grandstanding political move for Trump's base.

The DOJ is still full of Obama, Holder, Lynch political appointees. Every one of them should be fired. They will never defend/support the Trump agenda.
Drain The Swamp.

Pakistan has nuclear weapons capable of hitting the United States.
Saudi Arabia is home to the Muslim capital of the world. From what I know they have made improvements since 9/11.
The resulting effect has much more potential negatives than positives. You can make the

Again, I already said execution was bad in some regards.
It also a suspension and also limits the amount of refugees (not eliminates) allowed. I consider this a win for the tax payer.

Political move? I would say so but the response from democrats was much more of a political move IMO, trump has been saying he would do this for months.

Well Trump just fired the acting Attorney General because she said his actions do not pass the muster. Part of the problem is he did not consult her for her expertise before releasing the EO.
