Maybe they should go to college or a trade school and learn some new skills, then they wouldn't have to worry about being "left behind".

This is a false choice. How about we solve our homeless issue for everyone? Its not a either or.

The wall should be judged on its own merits. And its a stupid thing. Mandatory everify, and making it illegal to rent to anyone not here legally would have 100X the effect, with 100X less cost.

Current estimates range from 10-20 Billion for it to be built. Most common number used is 15 billion.

Yearly maintenance would be a staggering 1 billion.

There may a glorious wall replete with gold and there will be an exquisite ribbon cutting ceremony but there will still be 20 million illegal workers on the US side of it. But at least Trump voters will have their wall. Too many US Industries depend on illegal workers. Hospitality is at the top of the list. Any Trump voter who has been to a hotel knows this.

Think for a minute what would happen if a large percentage of the service sector, hospitality, and leisure labor force had to be replaced overnight. You will get your wall but you won't get your job back.Trump will say it's your fault because he built you a wall.

Nobody forgot about "planes". Only someone totally clueless won't know that we have problems with those illegals who overstay a visa.

As for planes---Tell me how functionally illiterate potential illegal aliens can afford to get passports for their large families? Let alone buy plane tickets for their large broods? The coyotes can't help them with that.

Why do you think they sneak across the border instead? You should really think this through before you make yourself look ridiculous

This was perhaps President Trump's signature issue. It will be exciting to watch how the border wall is completed so quickly.
Just how long does it take to condemn someone's private property?

Can I sponsor a section of the wall and be able to paint some of my thoughts on it for our friends south of the border?
