To lie: Intentionally and knowingly say a falsehood.

Obama was given bad advice that turned out to not be true. There is no evidence that he knew you would not be able to keep your doctor when he said that. That is not a lie.

Sessions said something that is factually incorrect. He met with the Russians and said he did not. That is a lie.

Keep firing blanks. Cut the cord a while back. Try responding, not denigrating or caricaturing. Sorry about the big words.

Even for excluding the context and complete question, it still sounds like he is answering question related to campaign.

I think the republicans are stupid too for jumping on that bandwagon. It proves the republicans are not as united as so many want the public to believe. This BS is hurting both sides for different reasons but I think at the end of the day, it will hurt the left more.

Garbage is thrown out there by the DNC and they eat it up.

Agreed.

Franken is the one who screwed up by the way he worded the question. It was a "gotcha" question. But there's not much of a case here, which is why I'm laughing at Pelosi's tweet about Sessions needing to resign.

And I WANT Sessions to be replaced by a better candidate who's younger and not as southern, but......Sessions didn't do anything wrong here.

There is zero doubt McCaskill lied. She flat out said she never ever had met with the Russian ambassador, and she lied.
Whether you feel like it or not, Sessions out and out lied during a Senate confirmation hearing.

Now if you want to go after someone for lying in a tweet, start a thread on it and go for it.

But this thread is about Sessions.
