Obama has cleaved the nation in half with his lies and misleading words. the former democrat party, really the socialist party, has no tolerance for negotiation or compromise. They offer only their way or the highway.
It reflects directly on obama who has shown no desire or ability to negotiate with political opposition. No negotiation means greater dividsion.
When obama embraces BLM a terroroist group based on a lie, weaponizes federal agencies to surpess the vote, has his USAG falsify a warrant to spy on journalists and with cooperation from the media, supresses news that would reflect poorly on his re-election, the people can see the creation of a banana republic, propaganda machine and all.
there is no compromise when it becomes a life or death struggle and that is what the fear mongering socialists have created.

In the early 60s, MLK showed how to protest successfully. It requires winning over those initially opposed to your POV. Not cementing their position against you, especially as their POV has an enormous advantage in the distribution of power of government, all 3 branches in DC, 33 governors, dozens of single party GOP state majorities, etc..

Those who break the law are the subject of focus for law enforcement, and rightfully so, to be dealt with as appropriate. The vast majority of the rest of us need to focus our attention on the REASONS people are protesting.
What has helped the conservative movement and POTUS Trump is the lack of focus on what matters and all the focus on too much nonsense, falsehood and myths forever perpetrated by those who only have to lose and everything to gain by NOT paying attention to those who have GOOD REASON TO PROTEST just like the Vietnam protesters did, civil rights supporters did, women's rights supporters did!
People are unhappy. The economy is languishing..after years of liberal politics...graduates with high amounts of student dept can't find jobs....30 somethings are boomeranging into their parents basements...workers are living off of stagnant wages and can't save for retirement...older people have been forced into early retirement they can't afford because they were laid off and couldn't find work...our roads and bridges are falling apart....our schools are failing...
When people are unhappy they look for someone to blame and we blame the other side. Let's hope that a businessman in the white house is the right move... Actually, I'm certain it's better than the alternative. The questions is will it be effective for the economy.
Agreed people are unhappy, but I surely don't agree all the unhappy people is because of liberal politics, quite the contrary, and I don't mind business people attempting to govern in a political setting instead of working in the private sector for profit and personal gain, though there are obvious issues there too, but I can think of many a business person I would rather have as POTUS and heads of state over Trump and his picks. There's the real problem if you want to get past the overly simple generalities about what has people happy and/or unhappy today...
If anything it was worse AND Obama was far more balanced as a President than Trump has been in his first 60 days, while the country was in much worse shape.
Imagine Trump's reaction if the Senate minority leader said his job for the next 4 years was to make sure TRUMP was a one-term president.

Obama and his people were pretty social media savvy, so one has to wonder why Obama didn't take to tweeting madly about all the accusations, most certainly including Trump's, about how he wasn't even born in America! For Trump supporters, this is no doubt just another one of Obama's weaknesses. Obama also couldn't tweet as great as Trump can, but really the answers to these questions -- about the differences between Obama and Trump -- though fundamentally simple, they're just not to be understood by Trump or his supporters. Not in a life time...

We've been divided since before 1776. Some people tried to fix that in the 1860s, but other, richer, people decided that it was better to force the country to live in a perpetual broken marriage.
