This thread is as silly as the OP. Misses the mark on about 10 different levels (here's 5 off the top of my head).
1. Gay people have just as much right to be miserable in a marriage (or relationship) as straight people.
2. Who watches Commercials anymore? I don't think I've watched one in 14 years.
3. What's the bank's rate for car loans?
4. Will they give me a toaster if I open an account there?
5. All banks suck (at least they've sucked since they stopped giving away toasters). Even the banks that pretend that they don't suck & that they really care....they suck too.
SO backward. People expressing love toward one another by kissing is frowned upon but watching movies, news, and TV shows with violence, murder, etc. is A-OK. Cover your eyes when two men kiss, quick! But then go ahead and watch men shooting each other in the face.
Lying to kids just lets them know that you're not trustworthy.
They'll make that determination when they're older. That's not for you to decide for them.
The responsible thing for you to do would be to give them a truthful answer. Lying to them is a disservice.
As long as my brother doesn't have an issue with me lying to them. Then I will continue shielding them until I feel they're old enough to understand.
