Yes I remember when most things were closed on Sunday. People went to church and spent time with family. Because everything is open on Sunday now many people have to work, less people can go to church or have Sunday dinner. It's even happening to our holidays now, look at thanksgiving. Bring back the " boring " Sunday, old traditional ways are often the best ways.

It can be fairly powerful. So many advertisers stopped spending on Rush Limbaugh his hate radio that they tanked.
Yup.
Bill O'Reilly can tell you all about the power of advertisers. Or the lack of them.

He's off somewhere considering all this as we type here, and not happy to be doing it.

It wasn't so bad here on Sundays. We went to hang out at the park, or the beach if it was summer. I don't think I would have hung out at the mall even if it was open. But the other blue laws were weird. You could buy groceries, but only foodstuffs. Some things were off limits. I was young enough that it didn't bother me, but my mom complained that she couldn't buy pantyhose, or a knife set, or any silverware, pots, etc.

One person forwards a resolution weeks ago and this supports the idea that this has gotten national attention?

It does go to show that many will fall for anything.

It worked so well for them last time they tried to boycott Chick Fil A...

And if I remember correctly, they were the ones giving free food after the Orlando attack. Why does the left/lgbtq freaks still hate them?

One has to buy the entire catalog of Crazy, or be crucified.
Less than 3% of the population, identify in some way as LGBTQPIANRMNOP, yet the other 97% has to bend over backwards and play pretend for them, so their feelings are not hurt.
