This is about Democrats losing one of their most corrupt power positions.
Democrats scream loudest when their power is reduced or threatened. The resulting hyperbole and hysteria from the Left has no foundation at all in fact or logic. It is a purely visceral rage. All I can say, is the firing was overdue.
Wow! You sure are knocking yourself out in attempt to deflect from Trump!
Are you saying that he might have made them up? He sure has doubled down on repeating that story, even fleshed out some details. I can't imagine that trump would make up something like that unless he was pretty sure that everyone would assume comeny was lying if comey denied ever conversing with trump and being asked that question... oh, never mind, trump has made up worse things already.
If he isn't worried then why lawyer up.
President Donald Trump has hired a Washington law firm to send a letter to a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee saying he has no connections to Russia, White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Tuesday. Trump Hires Law Firm to Fight Suggestions of Russia Business Ties - NBC News

Comey damaged the bureau’s reputation with his cowardly whitewash of Hillary’s mishandling of classified information using an unauthorized private email server.” What ranking democrat has Comey indicted for the misdeeds that were committed by the Obama administration? Oh yeah. his was a "scandal free" presidency <sarcasm>...

Wow! The President of the United States is 'lawyering up'.
Democrats are screaming timing.... but the Russian narrative was taking off before Trumps inauguration. If Trump fired him straight up it would look like a cover up. The other point is that the FBI director reports to the deputy Attorney of the US. He assumed the position only 2 weeks ago.
Like any good CEO, Trump is letting people he hires advise him. The Deputy recommended Trump fire Comey and Trump did.

Other way around, I think..Trump had decided to fire Comey..and instructed Rosenthal and Sessions to draft a letter.
