Did you simply not read/understand the articles you posted or are you deliberately posting false information?
You are totally mischaracterizing what the articles say.
This is a normal process that Treasury Dept always engages in relative to sanctions.......i.e. rolling back pieces of them that had unintended consequences.
Further, it was likely already underway by the Obama admin before Trump even took office.
For example, they are adjusting the regs so cellphones with encryption software can be traded.

It is not likely that selling cybersecurity software to the FSB was already underway under Obama.
Obama was placing sanctions on Russia, not pulling them off.
That's a point to think about. Watergate was certainly a closely held operation, specifically planned and executed, particular thing specifically done.
I have the feeling that all of this mess with Trump and Russia is more of a vague encouragement of freewheeling contact with Russia that had never been placed under a considered strategy. I doubt anybody in the transition team or in the White House knew what everyone was doing.

Why post such obvious lies?
I posted the info that was in the article you posted lol. Stop being ridiculous and just admit you either didn't read them or misunderstood them.
The articles are very clear that Treasury is engaging in a normal process that they always engage in when sanctions are put on any country under any admin of any party.
They go back and clean up things that were unintended consequences. Prohibiting the sale of cell phones and tablets with encryption devices and thereby impacting that US industry was never an intention of the sanctions. So they are fixing that.
They engage in this process when sanctions are placed.....so yes as the article says they likely started this process under the Obama admin.
There is nothing nefarious going on. Its a process that is normal and has always been in place.
Senator Collins is on Morning Joe now, and she said when she was an intern during Watergate, amidst of all the controversy things were getting done. However, this current administration is not showing leadership on what it wants to get done. There hasn't been any policy proposals for the legislature to work on. Just controversy after controversy.
You watch "Morning Joke?" LOL!
Senator Collins is an idiot. There is a lot getting done, despite the so-called "investigation" which isn't anything like "Watergate." With "Watergate," at least there was an actual crime.
Healtcare is getting worked on. Tax reform is being worked on. Many bills have already been passed and signed into law.
Of course, if you only watch Morning Joke or the Rachel Madcow comedy show, etc, you wouldn't know it.
Nixon knew the law and knew full what he was doing. Trump is clueless he's doing anything wrong.
Nixon thought he, as president, could break the law and get away with it. Trump thinks he can do anything he wants.
The Republicans eventually convinced Nixon to resign. I don't see anyone accomplishing that with Trump so he may just end up getting indicted.
I think you're clueless and watching too much MSNBC and CNN because Trump isn't doing anything wrong. Can you tell us what he's doing wrong?
Trump hasn't broken any laws, and he knows he can't do "anything he wants." Please give examples if you're going to make absurd statements like that.
