As far as pursuing "investigations" I had always thought that when a crime was known, for example the Watergate burglaries one investigates. I never thought that one decides that a certain candidate or President has an aroma and thus needs to have every day of their lives investigated to see if they ever did anything wrong. If you're so upset about lack of purity of elections why do you probably oppose requiring voters to identify themselves when they vote? You'd be hard-pressed to know that nothing happened here. It's like the tree falling in the forest, at best. But hey, the Democrats have the right to govern. And by the way I didn't vote for Trump. But would now if the election were held today.
I said no such thing, does not seem to have stopped from doing anything, he is creating more jobs that is for sure, Lawyers seem to be in demand these days. Why don't you stop whining about an investigation that would help trump, because if, as you seem to believe, he is innocent of any wrong doing then he is going to come out smelling like a rose or is it that you are afraid he will come out smelling like something else?

For those who were around during Watergate, how does this Russia probe compare? (Representatives, Congress)
It doesn't compare.

Watergate actually happened.

Yeah sure, guess that is why a Republican Congress just approved more sanctions that no President can override. Opps

And Obama sure was a smart guy to have the foresight (right word?) to calculate and achieve that

Because in the real world of foreign policy Trump was left with a set of sanctions he might not have imposed, and lifting or modifying them is messy, especially in an atmosphere of his being accused of some amorphous "collusion."

What is the crime they are "investigating"? What you said was that Trump couldn't modify the sanctions because of suspicion of collusion. What you said was:

He isn't allowed to have his own policy on sanctions?

You mean secrets like Hillary and the DNC conspiring to steal the nomination? Yes, I can see how that could be troublesome to the left.

You guys are either the most disingenuous and hypocritical people on the planet or the most self-deceived I've ever seen. Maybe it's both.

Oh, please! What a drama queen!

There isn't even a crime here! How can it be 50 times worse than Watergate where there actually was a crime?

So far, in this case, they still haven't found any crime that has been committed! But they've hired more lawyers in search of something.

Excuse me? Maybe I read wrong(ly) but didn't a republican Congress recently voted even more steady sanctions on Russia?

And again, you didn't answer... How in the world would Obama have prepared for a future embarrassment of Trump towards Russia if Trump doesn't have anything to be afraid of?

There was sort of a denial stage with Watergate at the beginning when everyone felt like there was something wrong but was trying to believe that it wasn't... and then the coverup started coming to light and that sealed the deal. What did he know and when did he know it? I think we are at that point with Russia-gate... The coverup and leaks and dirty laundry and flat-out lies and contradictions are undermining any credibility that Trump has or his minions. The Mueller investigation is just getting started and Trump would give anything to shut it down. He is stupid enough to do it and that will seal his fate. As was pointed out in other threads, even his lawyers are getting lawyers...they know what a mess this is.
