Comey used the FBI's computers to store the information.Comey was on the FBI's time clock.
Comey stated that he went home and manually wrote out notes about his conversations with Trump. He also stated that in one instance, he wrote notes as he sat in his car, immediately after talking with Trump, before leaving his parking spot. Of course, he may have used a computer for this, but he was clearly on his own time. He did not state whether he used a computer, smart phone, notepad, iPad, or piece of old cardboard for this - just that he had jotted down notes which he later expanded, to keep the events and the conversation fresh in his mind.
Where is your source for your statement that Comey used FBI computers and was on the FBI time clock?
I am sure Comey used other resources to discredit the president. This opens a big door on how the Obama Administration and the hold overs information to the press.
He presented his own personal notes to the media and did it transparently.
That is not a leak. He came right out and told Congress. If it were a leak and he admitted it under oath, it would be dereliction of duty not to charge him.
Trump underestimated the job, his own capabilities and those around him. Saying he is "not a politician" is meaningless. His supporters claimed THAT was his strength!
That wasn't transparent.
He leaked it to a buddy to leak to the press.
Transparent would be going to the AG/Dag, or one of the gang of 8 and passing it on. Or even going to media yourself. He's a cowardly snake.
Word is Comey met with Loretta Lynch allot of times in secret meetings.
