Trump is screwed if he fires Mueller.

I hope he fires Mueller.

If Trump fires Mueller he must build a case about why with the American public first.
Not to worry. Comey will not be affected by anything Mueller does in investigating collusion. He was fired before Mueller showed up, and is no longer in the loop nor is he nor his actions the subject of any investigation.

If he fires him without cause, there most likely will be impeachment hearings. He cannot keep firing investigators without appearing very guilty and very much obstructing justice. If he had not fired Comey, he wouldn't have a special prosecutor.

And why would Trump want to fire Mueller unless he has some really big things to hide?

Such as who does Trump owe money to in foreign countries? Who lent him money and invested in all of his hotels and resorts? US banks stopped lending to him when pulled his bankruptcies disappearing act.

He refuses to separate from the business and Eric said he's been giving him regular updates, which Trump assured us would not happen. There is a strong possibility of conflicts of interest and illegalities all over the place.

It is going to be about the money. Eric's NY charity is now being investigated because what it has been doing looks an awful lot like a money-laundering scheme for Donny. Donny donates money to Eric's charity from his own foundation (which illegally solicited donations). Then Eric pays Trump's organization a few hundred thousand for one day's use of a golf course for his charity.

When they start looking closely at Trump's financial dealings involving other countries and banks all over the world, who knows what they will find?

Of all the crap that Trump pulls, what will probably bring him down will be financial improprieties, conflicts of interest and emoluments issues.

He's been using the excuse of being audited as the reason for not divulging financial info. Well, he's about to get audited bigly. As much as the cult loves him, he is not above the law.

Yeah I didn't expect him to fire Comey either. Nothing this moron does surprises me.

The end result will probably be a RICO indictment against Trump and his family. The only Trumps that won't be caught up are Tiffany, Barron and Melania.

If the RICO indictments come before the midterms and the R's don't impeach, you will probably be looking at a huge losses for Republicans. I don't think there is a scenario where the Trumps and his cronies get to walk away free.

Yup. Firing Mueller would be hard to do, but if accomplished would only make Trump appear to be more suspicious than before and would make the investigation more intense on finding something out on him.

The belief that firing the special prosecutor would make Watergate go away was Nixon's biggest mistake.

This is not the scale or even comparable to Watergate. Comey has already set the standard going forward. It would be interesting if HRC and the Obama Tem were implicated in trying to make Trump look bad.
Mueller is here to stay and I hope we hear all of the dirty little secrets that the DNC is justly rewarded!

Sen. Nunes already stated the Democrats will not like the outcome!

You do know with watergate Nixon didn't actually order the break in right?

This is exactly at the watergate scale or more.
