These temporary visa holders are like a handout to a business.
Mar A Lago will not pay the price of vetting these employees, will not pay them market wages (that's why they can't get Americans to do the job -- they aren't paying market wages. Florida is a state of tourism...there are these types of workers all over the state. The only reason Mar A Lago can't find enough is that they aren't compensating enough). They don't pay the high cost of providing themselves with below market wage employees.
It's disgusting....and if you are a Republican, fiscal conservative -- you are a hypocrit if you don't criticize this practice.

Trump just doubled the price of membership at Mar-A-Lago, and the cost of chocolate cake there has never been cheap, I am sure it's a big seller these days.
It has been asserted (through recent tax cut arguments) that when a business becomes more profitable, the wages will go up. That does not seem to be the case when Donald Trump owns the company.
President Donald Trump announced his support Wednesday for legislation that would cut in half the number of legal immigrants allowed into the United States while moving to a "merit-based" system of entry.
"That is why we are here today: Merit-based," said Trump, who was joined in the White House Roosevelt Room by the bill's Senate sponsors, Tom Cotton, R-Ark., and David Perdue, R-Ga.
President Trump embraced a proposal on Wednesday to slash legal immigration to the United States in half within a decade by sharply curtailing the ability of American citizens and legal residents to bring family members into the country.
The plan would enact the most far-reaching changes to the system of legal immigration in decades and represents the president’s latest effort to stem the flow of newcomers to the United States.

In asking Congress to curb legal immigration, Mr. Trump intensified a debate about national identity, economic growth, worker fairness and American values that animated his campaign last year.
The point being made in this thread is very clear. Trump doesn't walk the walk when push comes to shove. Not that this is surprising based on past behaviors of his companies.
Yes he does.
They ran an advert for local workers, couldn't get them, so then looked for HB2 Legal visa holders.
1. We need to take care of 'Murica first and hire 'Muricans to do the jobs

This is the Hillary Deplorables argument. Big fail on that.
But you demonstrate that which you make accusation.
Why yes, and his name is Donald J trump. "America First" except when his business can save $$$$ by importing foreigners when Americans would be happy to fill these jobs at his precious Mar A Lago.
He advertised for local American workers and didn't get them.
What is it about that which is hard to understand?
I am not against immigration. My posts on this thread are very clear.
So why are you whining on the thread then?
