So the democrats who complain about tax loopholes used by Trump are working on loopholes to avoid paying taxes?
But I thought paying taxes is everyone's civic duty?
Why shouldn't the middle class have to pay the Federal income tax they owe?
Well when you buy a house in a housing market that has high housing values living under the assumption that your taxes would be staying relatively the same is a crappy deal. Trump is known for crappy deals though. Not only that, but the bill does nothing to address the national deficit.

it's about a tax increase. SALT deductions have been around for more than a century and for our country that is a pretty long time.

Why would anyone foolishly make that assumption? Both FICA and Federal Income Tax rates have fluctuated. It's idiotic to assume the tax code would remain the same forever.

State and Local government taxing and spending has NOTHING to do with Federal taxing and spending. I'm surprised the disconnect between the two didn't come sooner, and that a $10,000 SALT deduction on Federal taxes is even still allowed.
So, you are under the impression they didn't pay before You are all over the place being the Fare Share Warrior
Just pay what you owe. What's so hard about that?
