Indeed. I didn't stop in one single big box store during the Christmas season.

Meanwhile Amazon has built a huge fulfillment center near here. It employs 1000s.

correlation and causation my friend.
Actually.....correlation does NOT equal causation, is how is goes.

Macy's has been closing stores and letting people go for decades now. This isn't due to Trump.

How can we be sure Trump hasn't accelerated Macy's decline?

If Trump takes credit for any new plant or store that opens, then he should also take credit for these layoffs.

Are you talking about the 10s of 1000s hired by Amazon to do the job once done by those old school Macy stores?

Glad you agree it's due to Trump.

But if your boy was such a Wunderkind, surely he would have been able to prevent Macy's from needing to follow though with those plans...

A loss is still a loss regardless of who's watch it's on. Does it make it better for those getting laid off?

So do stores like Macy's. And with waay better working conditions than working an assembly line at an Amazon fulfillment center.

Those workers are treated like total dirt.

Aw sweetie, never ASSume. I did not vote for Trump. With the growth of online shopping, retail will continue to hemorrhage jobs. Surely even you can understand.

Just as a point of reference since you seem to indicate you're knowledgeable, is it 'making shoes for Ivanka' treated like dirt or 'cleaning rooms at Trump hotels' kind of treated like dirt? I wouldn't want to get the wrong impression.

Yet it's the Macy's workers losing their jobs. Guess who got the bad end of that deal.

Like most everything else you post, it's nonsense.
