If Trump can take credit for the absence of Airline fatalities that have nothing to do with him or his "regulations" then he can take credit for this.

...try to keep up.

Nope. They'd been going down hill for years. They've been filing bankrupt since the 90s (not sure if earlier than that even).

They've also had store closings for many years now.

But, here's the kicker. If you look at history, there's been department store closings for decades now. Hell, for decades, we've also seen the decline of shopping malls and centers.

This isn't new, and Macy's laying off people isn't because they stopped selling Trump junk. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Amazon also has a bit of a cult following. They are smart to follow it as long as it holds Im not a fan of them but I don't get angry at people who use them. Amazon treats many employees abysmally but many here dont care.

Remember when?
Japan was going to rule the world in 1988?
Internet Explorer was the devil that owned all?
AOL was going to own everyone?
Microsoft was going to own the world?

Like Trump keeps taking credit for good things that were announced before he even decided to run for office?

You can't have it both ways.

agree, I can't believe how down market they've gone. Besides thier atrocious web presence compared to competition, like you stated, they are basically a Kolhs or JC Penney with a cpl upscale items sprinkled throughout. They can't compete for mass affluent with Lord and Taylor Nordstrom. They can't compete with Target and Kohls on the lower end. Basically they're stuck in a useless tier all by themselves.
