I think teaching children about God and how important it is to walk in his footsteps through this challenging life is important. Whether you call God Allah or whatever...teaching them that they are a part of something big and important and based on love and respect for your fellow man.
There can be no vacuum of spirituality in human beings. We were created and born spiritual beings. It’s who we are. These kids need community and they need guidance.
Agree but you can't go there with that on the politic forum sadly because people will make it about something else, mostly political, race, gender and religion, every time.
It's not the first time that 4chan has memed something that the news has believed....like that Sam Hyde photo that the news actually posted after the church shooting in TX. They always post "Sam Hyde", and the news is too stupid to do any fact checking.
Following this weekend’s deadly mass shooting in Las Vegas, numerous rumors centered on fake victims and misinformation about the tragedy have circulated across social media.
Amid those rumors was a series of deliberate hoaxes that originated from a variety of sources — including 4chan’s alt-right stronghold /pol/; a fake Facebook page claiming that the shooter, Stephen Paddock, was a member of antifa; and several troll accounts on Facebook and Twitter.
In other words, during a moment when most people were reeling in horror and seeking information about a terrible event that killed more than 50 people and injured over 500 more, a smaller subset saw an opportunity — a chance to spread rumors and falsehoods on the internet. And in some cases, those rumors and falsehoods were seemingly fabricated by individuals or groups connected to the alt-right, with the specific intention of destabilizing their political opponents.
It says: "Jordan Jereb is a meme in the chat." They mess with him on his live call in shows. Eventually they got one of them to get called by ABC, they lied through their teeth to ABC, and ABC blew up the story that now all outlets are repeating...because the news NEVER facts check anything.
Local law enforcement sources have not found a connection between accused Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz and a Tallahassee-based paramilitary group.
Leon County law enforcement sources told the Tallahassee Democrat that they could not find information linking Cruz, 19, to the Republic of Florida Militia, as claimed by the group’s self-proclaimed leader Jordan Jereb.
His comments to the Anti-Defamation League and The Associated Press set off a media firestorm Thursday at about midday that Cruz was connected to the alt-right, white nationalist group.

They also need to be told NO if they attempt to buy an AK-47.
Not all parents would shelter their children from bullets. My father ridiculed me because of my medical problems and told me he wanted me to put a gun in my mouth and pull the trigger. Some parents want their children dead. Just the way it is.
Even when Trump tries he's so tune deaf he should be forbidden to tweet or speak to grieving parents and students for a least a month after tragedies like these happen.
I always interpreted it as Respecting a Religion means using it as an official religion to govern by.
I am not the most literate, but, we have no official language or religion, just a language and religion we were founded upon.
Steve, just FYI -- I sincerely don't mean to be picking on just you, LOL -- but the fact is that most of the "founding fathers' were Deists in at least thought. -- that is why you will notice that there is virtually no reference to Jesus in the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution. They did believe in God, though, and "He" is mentioned in both.
However, as the article states, it is also true that some of them, at least, were "outwardly" Protestant -- born and raised, so to speak. But whatever their personal beliefs were, I think it is clear that Jefferson, Franklin, Adams, etc. never intended the U.S. to be a "Christian" nation -- or at least not exclusively so!
Forget yayhoo, This is the tweet,
So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!
The leftist media right now is all out attempting to vilify the right.
And they did report him. To the school officials, to the FBI and to the police.
Once again Trump hasn't a clue what he is talking about. The fool only pissed people off with his avoidance of mentioning guns.
