You know what you find at the bottom of the swamp, don't you? Muck and slime.
I'm trying to figure out who'd be outraged at the thought of everyone casting a vote ... hm, the Republicans who are trying to suppress the vote, maybe?
On what planet were William Randolph Hearst or Andrew Mellon considered liberal in 1937?
Harry J. Anslinger, NOT a liberal! Criminalized possession of marijuana in 1937 because black jazz musicians were getting crazy on it. Can't have that!
Chinese President Xi Jinping recently consolidated power. Trump told the gathering: “He’s now president for life. President for life. And he’s great.” Trump added, “I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll give that a shot someday.”
I am not sure I think Xi is great, I think maybe to the Chinese, he is great. This said, I don't agree or disagree with the statement. I think as long as the people want somebody, he should be able to serve more than 2 terms.

Obama joked about a 3rd term, Clinton lamented the 22nd Amendment, etc.
They all get addicted to the power of the office and lament that it is temporary. Trump is no different, no better, no worse. All tyrants love their power and are loathe to give it up.
Like the leftists begging for a third term of Obama
Hardly.
