Trump is just a symptom of the greed and dumbing-down disease that has gripped the USA. A healthy nation would have affordable healthcare and higher education for all and would prosper from diversity. The radical right wing and the current GOP crime syndicate needs to be relegated to the dustbin of history asap if the grand experiment of our democracy is ever going to function the way it was intended to again. The middle class will completely cease to exist if the GOP and their sociopathic greedy machinations and policies that created and enabled a Trump monster, are not kicked to the curb once and for all.

As long as the Dumbing Down of America remains as strong as it is, and propaganda channels like GOP TV (Faux News) and fake news are the only sources of information for the GOP base, the GOP will remain strong in amongst the low information base who continue to vote for these carnival barkers. We have reached the apex of Republican stupidity with Donald Trump, and one only hopes there is some semblance of democracy left after this grand experiment is over. All patriots must remain vigilant against the rightwing fascists who seek to usurp the Constitution and literally worship Donald Trump.

Obama was worn out carrying the weight of that damned housing / banking/ near depression level crash that he inherited. I was frankly admiring both him and McCain for not pulling out of the race when the crash hit. I would not have blamed them if they said " Nevermind. I don't really want to be president right now."

You've probably heard the complaint that the left has become completely unhinged. Your presumption that because a politician doesn't implement 100% of their stated agenda or, heaven forbid, compromises on an issue, makes him/her a "chronic liar" is prima facie evidence of just how insane the Dems/left have become.
