Scary stuff, mad serial bomber/killer still on the loose.
I thought the police trying to reason with the bomber to turn themselves in was ridiculous. No such bomber is going to have a conscience to turn themselves in.
This maybe a copycat bomber.
Totally different design and in a very upscale neighborhood.
The others were in a lower middle class neighborhood, with connections.
I tend to think not. I think that this is one person who is really smart and really angry who was deeply wounded or hurt by something Austin did to him. 2nd choice would be a really smart totally insane person. The bombs have exploded and they have maimed and killed. This shows a knowledge of how to make bombs that work. This takes training and knowledge. I would bet my bottom $ that somehow these people are not random but connected if only inside the killer's mind.

It could be that the suspect has modified their tactics to stay in front of investigators, and potential targets.
Common practice among the IED networks in Iraq, and Afghanistan. Coalition forces develop counter measures for one type of IED, insurgents would modify the device types.

The previous 3, all had ties in someway to each other.
With this most recent bomb, a tripwire bomb at that, the person or persons responsible are obviously very trained and/or experienced. If the person responsible for this is operating solely alone, there would be a very big probability that they won't find him or her for a long time. Look how long it took them to catch the unibomber. The unibomber was working completely alone too.
Authorities involved are using an interesting tactic right now. They are going public with a plead for the person(s) responsible to come forward. Absolute dumbest thing I've ever heard of, but it's just a tactic. I'm sure the authorities are doing it this way in hopes that the individual responsible will put their guard down simply because they get the idea that authorities are just that stupid. Give me a break already. Anyone making bombs and blowing up people and so far going completely undetected, they ain't just going to say "ok I'm done playing, now you can catch me". Ridiculous! Obviously whoever is doing this is playing with authorities. First few bombs were just that, bombs. I'm getting the feeling this most recent bomb activated by a tripwire is different then the previous. It's more like a bold bragging statement, showcasing some of their bomb building capabilities.
I won't be surprised that if and when they catch the person or persons involved, that it turns out those responsible to have a background pertaining to training and experience with explosives.
Relax. No one's saying for sure it's racially motivated. Just that it appears to be headed that way since every victim so far is black. So far is looks pretty racially motivated to me, though.
