He was seventeen or eighteen when he wrote that - a college freshman. It's clear that he was very conservative and quite judgmental at that time, but it's not clear how his views might have evolved since then.
We also know he was fired from work (with computers) at the end of last summer and had not worked since then. Resentment over that might well have been major factor in his going off the rails.

What likely happened was that he failed at community college because his home school “education” was a terrible basis. Then he saw black and brown peers do well and developed his hatred against minorities and decided to kill.

That’s a pretty wild speculation. All we have is a six year old blog to go on. We don’t know his motives.

The mayor of Pflugerville lives 2 blocks from his house. The mayor says it is a run down house and has had a lot of human traffic in and out.
People do not reason like these when the issue is crime, out of wedlock births, welfare. People don't bother to try to reason that such happens among all races and ask "what is wrong with you people" for focusing on race when the focus makes blacks look bad.
Yet, many people want to deflect away from what probabilities say is the likely motive. Granted, I am not saying with any certainty that "That is the Motive". I am just saying that it is the probable motive, but I certainly would not bet my retirement funds on it.

Someone up-thread suggested that it wasn't "necessary" for me to have noted that he was "yet another white male murderer with an innocuous background" as if this isn't currently the most disaffected segment of our population.
It is not placing blame to note this but rather simply pointing out a reality that many simply do not want to acknowledge.

I wonder how a 24 year old could build those deadly bombs? From what I have read it’s not that easy. Maybe we are missing some information. How did he acquired the materials? Who did he live with? Where did he test his bombs while learning to build them?
