I loved the video of a reporter walking through the crowd of kids asking "So, you want to ban assault weapons right?" YES,YES, YES! Then he asked "what is a assault weapon" and the answers were just precious.
Ummm, ahhh, ummmm.
Yeah, these kids are soooo smart and know way more than any adult does...
If you were shot at and saw your friends dying around you, you may think differently about assault type weapons....
But you have to understand that the gun whacks know that the odds of this happening to them or to theirs are astonishingly small. Couple that with the reality that they could not care less what happens to someone else, it's no surprise that they are not going to be swayed by that argument. This is like reasoning with a spoiled child; they want their guns with no restrictions or curbs - and by God they are going to have them. At any cost.
No private property should be banned. What people do in their own homes is no business of anyone else, as long as what they do doesn't infringe on the rights of others.
So what then--do you want to ban 3D printers?
Against the law to print money at home,with or without a printer. We will have a law against using a 3D printer to make whatever is banned by the law. BTW, your average Joe six-pack cannot afford a 3D printer.

See above, this poster immediately tries to equate a teenager who survived a mass school shooting to Hitler and claimed her use of a particular speech tactic was from "Hitler's playbook". This person ignores the fact that people have been using this method of underscoring a point for hundreds of year before and since Hitler used it.
Here is just one example, this one of Benjamin Netanyahu, using the exact same pause (for the same reason btw) in speech. Do we really thing Netanyahu took this from Hitler?
Then you will lose. The tide has turned and people see that with owning a gun, there are responsibilities and asking for a waiting period, background checks on all individuals, closing gun shows loop holes are common sense steps that a law abiding gun owner should not have a problem with.
