The President doesn't have to "press for the military to build the wall." As "Commander in Chief," he has the Constitutional authority to build it, and he can use military funds (it is a national security issue). There is plenty of money in the military budget for the wall.

It's just laughable the kind of crap the liberal media puts out, and Leftists believe every word.

If illegals pouring over the border bringing drugs, etc., are not an "invasion" I don't know what is. As a matter of national security, he can start building the wall immediately with the funds recently allocated to the military, over which he has control (the Defense Department is under the Executive Branch).

Sorry, liberals. You lose.

Yes, he is. The wall can now be built. He needs no further authorization.

The President doesn't even need to use the military to build it. He can use private contractors. Does the military build our airplanes? No. Boeing does.

You have no idea how your own government works.

The Omnibus bill isn't a budget. It allocated plenty of funds to the military, over which the President has authority as Commander-in-Chief. It gave him everything he asked for and more.

"Misappropriation of funds?" He is Commander-in-Chief. He gets to decide. (And some very good lawyers have confirmed this) Did you forget that the Defensed Department is under the Executive Branch, of which the President is the Chief Executive Officer?

Once the funds are allocated to the military, the Congress has no control over how they are spent. The President signed the Omnibus Bill. The Funds are his. He will spend much of it to rebuild the military. There is plenty left to build the wall, which is a national security issue.
