I'm not watching those, Prager U is right wing propaganda, I tried watching a couple of their videos years ago just to see what the opposition thought, and wanted to vomit in my mouth they are so partisan and hacky

Nope, I don't waste my time watching right wing propaganda. But 2 posts implying Dems are socialist were pretty clear.

If I waited for gov't to do something to help my situation I'd still be poor and waiting, since I didn't wait, put forth the effort to change it myself, my financial life and circumstances improved dramatically. If you'd prefer to wait, that's on you, but it's you will will live with the result of your decision just as you are living today with the choices and decisions you made in your past. Good luck

Thanks, but I'm a financially comfortable Democrat, living amongst many, many other Democrats in my upper middle class neighborhood. I know you think all Dems are poor and lazy but your beliefs aren't reality.

Good, so we both made decisions and made the effort and didn't wait for gov't to make our life better. You'd think you would encourage this miindset with others, instead those of you who support Democrat policies are encouraging the opposite.

If you want to help the poor, encourage independence, gainful employment or entrepreneurship and support capitalism which has brought more people out of poverty than any other form of society. Is it perfect, hell no, but it's better than waiting for some bureaucrat who could care one damn about the people other than to get our vote to do something.

If you want to help the poor, encourage self sufficiency though effort, and support capitalism which has brought more people out of poverty than any other form of society. Many "poor" people are gainfully employed in full time jobs but don't earn enough to live on because of those good capitalists who think that it's more important to put money in the pockets of investors and executives rather than workers.

Get back to me when Walmart workers and even school teachers in some states don't need to apply for food stamps to make it through the month.

If something is not working then the common sense thing to do is change what you are doing. Remember, people are living with the result of "yesterdays" decisions and actions, if it's not working, then you'd think you'd change the plan and their actions.

Oh well, as I said, if people choose to wait, we live in a free country, then wait.

Democrats are the party of globalist-minded elites, both economic and cultural, while Republicans are the party of the working class.

To their rich constituents, Democrats offer more trade, more immigration, and general globalism. To their non-rich constituents, they offer identity politics. That’s one reason why Democrats have devoted so much attention to issues such as transgender rights, racial disparities in criminal justice, and immigration reform. The causes may be worthy—and they attract sincere advocates—but politically they’re also useful. They don’t bother rich people.
