And, I assume we're to pretend that these people pushing these "real answers nobody wants to tell you about" don't themselves have an agenda or some junk to sell? Right... of course not...
If you want to live longer, I suspect spending less time on strange, stress-inducing websites like this forum would help, for starters. That, and not living in a perpetual search for "the conspiracy." I've know numerous conspiracy theorists in my time. Every single one of them is a miserable person.

I've been on health forums for about 12 yrs and can't imagine ever getting all the great support from MD's that I've gotten from those health oriented strangers and they never sent me a bill.`

NO, opioids are not damaging, the effort to 'demonize' opioids comes straight from the DEA, they are the reason doctors are too frightened to give scripts for opioids, they fear being raided and having their medical license yanked away.
medicine derived from opium has been used for 1000s of years, wars have been fought over opium...they are effective and do their job. The DEA is not concerned with anyones health or safety, they have their own reason for targeting opioids, has more to do with growing the police state, seizures, and aiding and abetting the drug cartels.
What about the pharmacy in West Virginia? There are about 20,000 people in the county and the pharmacy sold 25,000 prescriptions for opioids.
The medical community disagrees. You are free to rely on pot or suicide for your cancer pain if you choose, but you have no right to decide for others how they go out.
And the government has no right to decide how we go out either, yet they do.
I'm 71 and have never had any doctor recommend that I take statins...
I'm much younger than you and my level was 330 when I was first tested. I am thin and fit and I exercise. I think it's just heredity. A statin keeps it under 200 for me. But not everyone needs to take it if they don't need it.
