I believe humans will always strive to get themselves and their children to a place with the better opportunities.
Possibly doing permanent damage to little children is NOT the answer.
I was raised to believe we are better than that and I don't think our maker (no matter one's religious belief) would be very happy with harming babies and kids.

If you don't apply and don't come here legally, then you can't come in, period. With or without children or puppies or frail senior mommys and daddys in wheelchairs. It's a display, it's a hustle, it's organized. You get bounced if you invade, no matter who you bring.

Invading YOUR country? It's my country too, and most rational people don't see asylum seekers as "invaders". I'm all for mandatory e-verify and criminal prosecution of employers who hire illegals, and finding a way to prospectively repeal birthright citizenship, but to call a caravan of asylum seekers 'invaders' is just silly talk. I love meeting people who are all different colors and religions and sexuality.
I have met people and learned things I never would have if not for being blessed to have been born here.

I don't mind that they secure our border but, many Trump supporters will believe otherwise because Trump keeps saying it.
I am heartbroken that his supporters aren't seeing that taking children from their families that are fleeing horrible conditions is a human rights issue.

Trump is genius at getting his base fired up over something that has been less of a problem in recent years than in times past.

Here's where you go wrong. First, this practice was in place under Obama it wasn't Trump's idea. Second, it's not those seeking asylum at ports of entry that are being separated from their kids it's those who entered illegally with them. Most of these asylum claims are bogus anyway as 75% are rejected. Most are coming here for economic gain on the backs of the U.S. worker/taxpayer not fleeing for their lives.
Most conservatives like myself do want the employers held accountable by implementing e-verify across the board with stiff punishment for those who don't comply. You must not have read the numerous posts where conservatives such as myself have stated it over and over either that or you're in denial. The fact is that illegals are just as guilty as those who hire them but your side only wants to put the blame on the employers.
All Americans should be fired up over this issue whether or not it's less of a problem because we still have millions of illegals within our borders and recently so-called asylum seekers crashing our border. These people are costing us over $100 billion year, increased crime, job losses, reduced wages and overcrowded schools, jails, hospitals, roads and neighborhoods. Sorry, but we can't be the flophouse and employment agency to the whole world's destitute without it negatively impacting our own citizens. You might try a reality check instead of dealing in emotion.
