Fake news is not reality and CNN has told some whoppers
CNN has had a few, mainly where they rushed an "Breaking News" without 100% of the story, but what about FOX who blatantly peddles made up content? What about the lies that come out of Trump himself?
The media reports, and errors can happen, but by and large, MOST of the things Trump has claimed as fake news, has turned out to be true, though his adoring cult members will never admit to it. The media can literally report VERBATIM what Trump says, and his people cry fake news, then get into fits of pretzel logic to try and justify what he says. This thread is a great example.
Reality is a democrat party that has been wasting my tax dollar for two years now, on a witch hunt, with not a ****damn thing to show for it. No need to tell me to ignore it because that's exactly what I've been trying to do for two years.
Having tax money wasted on it that could have gone toward something productive is quite annoying, however.
Don't worry, you will also be paying part of the farmers 12 billion for his new trade ideas.
It turns out Orwell was an optimist, Trumpistas don't need a MinTruth to modify history, they've mounted the Memory Hole right between their ears. Unpleasant facts are "Fake News" and whoosh, don't exist in their universe any more.
Orwell probably thought he was exaggerating the depths to which modern society could plunge, just to make the book more bone-chilling. I doubt he ever imagined that it would seem as benign as a nursery rhyme, compared to what is happening now and how much worse things will happen, if we don't exorcise the demons that are destroying us.
And here we are now and sadly we seem to be getting closer and closer to Orwell’s book. Your right though if we don’t stop and band together, we’re headed down that path. IMO, don’t see people putting aside thier hate.
And here come the dutiful little lapdogs to proclaim that "reality" is whatever Trump claims it is, despite the documented thousands of lies he's told just since he's been in office - who can even begin to imagine how many he told before that.
