You mean like, Hillary Clinton with Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein. And Anthony Weiner. And the huge numbers of their associates who have wound up dead.
Depends on what the FBI found when they raided the fundraising outfit in Annapolis in May of last year. They were looking for evidence of money laundering.
Sad to watch so many leftists who obviously hate America cheer on a political persecution simply because of political differences..sad day for democracy and abuse of the justice system.
Now that sounds like Putin double-speak to me--
No political prosecution except Trump is POTUS
Cohen had plenty of guilty behavior not rooted to his campaign fraud charges
Manafort had plenty of guilty behavior not tied to his time with Trump's campaign
Should have been charged lot sooner
Too bad Obama was president and didn't do it...
So now Trump is claiming none of this today had anything to do with him and Russia---
And it doesn't yet
But two guilty pleas to campaign fraud is definitely in Trump's bailiwick....
BTW I wonder what Trump's next Tweet storm is gonna look like.
Well, he cannot bash a jury made up of Americans doing their civic duty. Very bad optics.
If Trump knows what is good for him, he will not be bashing Cohen. He's already in hot water.
When they were reading the Cohen felonies, and got to the part about acting 'at the request of the candidate,' had a total flashback to Watergate. It was like deja vu.
Trump surrounds himself with crooks, but he is not a crook? Sure.
When future US history books are written, today will no doubt be refered to as an infamous day for our politics. Our sitting president’s personal lawyer and campaign manager are both found guilty of major felonies. And Cohen has implicated Trump as being a co-conspirator in his crimes to boot. A sad but necessary day. Time to take out the trash.
What's unusual about a political campaign worker or a lawyer being found guilty of a felony? What would be unusual is either of them actually being sentenced or serving time for it.
I think there will be more security clearances being taken in light of Cohen cooperating and Manafort being found guilty on 8 charges.
They will want to deflect attention. What a reality show!
Just a few minutes ago I accused a 'kitty' person of taking a victory lap at halftime, so I'm not going to do that other than to say it appears justice was served today and let's now see how the rest of this plays out.
That said, there's no doubt this isn't a good day for Trump and he knows it. He spoke about Manafort just a moment ago after landing in WV for a rally. ZERO about Cohen, which speaks for itself.
Remember her? Skinny Jersey girl who outsmarted the Clinton team and remembered where Michigan and Wisconsin are?
And she squeaky clean.
